PLGA Foundation Mission Statement

The Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytoma (PLGA) Foundation's mission is three-fold:

1. To act as a central resource and a portal for information for parents, patients, families, clinicians, researchers, specialists, and other non profit institutions seeking information about Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytomas (PLGA).

2. To accelerate the pace of promising PLGA scientific research by acting as a catalyst for individuals and corporations to initiate fundraising projects, which will benefit all PLGA designated research studies. 

3. To identify a clear direction for PLGA research and create opportunities for talented researchers and clinicians to apply for grant funding for start up, AS WELL, as follow through project monies.
