International Symposium for Pediatric Neuro-Oncologists Hosts LGG Session

On June 30th, 2008, the PLGA Foundation and the Brain Tumor Society will sponsor the Pediatric Low Grade Glioma Session at the ISPNO Symposium in Chicago. This research session will bring together researchers, clinicians and health care professionals from across the globe to share existing LGG knowledge and create a research direction for the future.

There will also be Family Education Day conducted on July 2nd. This session has been created "By  Familes - For Families", with the understanding that parents of children effected by brain tumors are an intergral part of the medical/family partnership. Knowledge is power and informed families become strong advocates and partners with surgeons, oncologists and related health professionals in providing their children optimal care.
