Financial Support
| PLGA families encounter many obstacles in the fight against PLGA. Financial issues can play a big role in the stress for these families. Fortunately, there are some wonderful organizations that can help. Whether you are looking for help finding complimentary housing while your child is being treated at a facility far from your home, assistance with flight costs to a treatment program, or just general financial assistance due to the burden of medical costs and lost income due to your child's illness, there is hope. | |

Housing Help when in the Hospital |
|
| Ronald McDonald House Corporation |
The three core programs of RMHC - the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile - are focused on helping families in need. Our cornerstone Ronald McDonald House program began in 1974 based on a simple idea: Provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Since that time, more than 10 million families around the world have benefited from the comfort provided by a Ronald McDonald House. |
| Hosts for Hospitals |
The mission of Hosts for Hospitals is to provide free lodging and support at volunteer-host homes as a caring response to the housing needs of patients and their families who come to the Greater Philadelphia area for specialized medical care. |

| The Corporate Angel Network |
Corporate Angel Network is the only charitable organization in the USA whose sole mission is to ease the emotional stress, physical discomfort and financial burden of travel for cancer patients by arranging free flights to treatment centers, using the empty seats on corporate aircraft flying on routine business. |
| Miracle Flights for Kids |
Miracle Flights works with needy families, doctors, hospital personnel, and social workers to arrange for flights to medical treatment centers all over the country. When the barrier between a desperately ill child and medical treatment is distance, Miracle Flights for Kids makes the miles disappear. |
