PLGA Families, Friends and Colleagues:

A HUGE thanks to the thousands of families who responded to our initial call to action AND voted for Project Brain Child. Your hard work has paid off and Project Brain Child was selected by American Express (from over 1190 other projects) as one of the top 25 projects, which COULD receive funding (up to $1.5 million) through American Express's Members Project program.

Dear PLGA Fundraising Teams:

I am writing with an urgent request, because 5 minutes of your time could mean up to $2.5 million donated to PLGA brain tumor research.

As of today, August 18th, the PLGA Foundation is in the running for a HUGE grant from American Express's philanthropic program. The hitch is that we need to get 10,000 people to NOMINATE the project BEFORE August 30th in order to be considered as a candidate for the funds.

The Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytoma Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the new PLGA Foundation website - http://www.fightplga.org.

The website will provide you with pertinent information, resources and connections to other families in the PLGA community. Many of the same services you've come to rely on through the http://www.fightjpa.org/ website...but with enhanced content, site navigation, search tools, communication tools and more!
