Lobbying Parents

Dear PLGA  Lobbying Families-

Over a year ago, you all responded to my 'call to action' when I described to you the need to lobby congress to include language in the NIH's Appropriations Bill on Health, about Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytomas.  And your efforts paid off!  The language WAS included in the bill and it is now sitting on the desk of the 'powers that be' at the NIH.  (I am working on a strategy to move this off the 'desk' and into the 'conference room'...but that is a story for another time.)
